Today, I went to a typical American supermarket. There are so many foods there and it is much larger than Japanese one. I got a lot of souvenirs. I bought fruits, chocolates, snacks, cans and so on. I enjoyed myself at the supermarket.

It sounds like you had a good time in Alexandria and Georgetown and also at the supermarket. I'm glad you were able to get some things for yourself and also some souvenirs for your friends.

It's lucky I put the supermarket on the schedule; it seems everyone liked it even better than the trip to the Washington Post plant!
I hope you can fit everything you bought into your luggage! But you told me you're a pro at packing now, so I guess I shouldn't worry too much :D
